TULSA, Okla. – As the 2017-18 school year gets underway, ORU Athletics is encouraging students and fans to "Rise Up" with the launch of a new marketing campaign that was officially debuted at chapel Friday morning.
"We are excited about the 2017-18 school year and what it will bring for ORU Athletics," said Senior Associate A.D./Marketing Scott Higgins. "Rise up is a call to action for our student body, fans and our student-athletes. The phrase "rise up" appears as a call to action more than 60 times in the Bible and this campaign is a call to action to all ORU fans to unite as one as we compete for the Glory of God."
The new campaign will feature all 16 Golden Eagle athletic teams and will include billboards around Tulsa, TV and newspaper ads, and various social media graphics and videos.
Fans are encouraged to unite with the Golden Eagles by changing their social media profile pictures to the new "Rise Up" logo and by using the hashtag #RiseUp in social media posts.
