Catherine Mitts joined ORU as a graduate assistant prior to the 2017-18 school year, and will work primarily with the women’s soccer program.
Mitts came to ORU after graduating from the University of Alabama in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training. As a student athletic trainer with the Crimson Tide, Mitts worked with the football team during her senior season and also spent time during her undergraduate work with the women’s tennis, baseball and women’s basketball programs. She also helped out at the Nick Saban Gatorade Summer Camp.
Prior to that, she completed an internship with the Stanford University football team and also worked at the Champion Sport Medicine Physical Therapy Clinic and Northside High School.
Mitts is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and is certified by the American Heart Association in first aid and CPR.
