Enjoyed outstanding all-round season for the Golden Eagles

... was twice named National Pitcher of the Week ... picked up first award from

the NCBWA following 3-hit complete game in ORU's 10-1 win at No. 7 Miami (4/5)

in which he fanned seven and walked just two against the Hurricanes ... was

honored by Collegiate Baseball four weeks later after hurling 12.0 shutout

innings in two starts, allowing just eight hits and walking one with 19

strikeouts in posting a 2-0 record that week ... had wins over eventual College

World Series participant Southwest Missouri State (4/30—5.0 IP, 5 H, 5 K) and

also tossed his first career shutout against Southern Utah (5/4—7.0 P, 3 H, 1

BB, career-high 14 K) ... struck out seven straight batters at one point vs. SUU

and fanned the side in three of seven innings ... won nine straight mound

decisions before 6-3 loss against Texas A&M (5/30) in NCAA Regionals ... capped

stellar campaign with Mid-Con Tournament MVP honors after dominating performance

in three games ... hit three home runs with six RBI in addition to hurling

one-hit shutout against Valparaiso (5/22) in the tournament opener ... retired
