The second DBU error of the inning came in the next at bat as the Patriots tried to pick off Forcier at first, the ball got away and Migliaccio scored to give the Golden Eagles a 3-2 lead.

The Patriots tied the game at three apiece in the bottom of the fifth as Justin Wall beat out a grounder deep in the hole at second, driving in Austin Listi.

ORU answered the Patriots yet again in the top of the sixth. Following a Jose Trevino single and Logan Domenico walk, Boss doubled into the left field corner to plate Trevino to regain a 4-3 lead. Sequeira followed with an infield single to short to plate Domenico.

It didn't take long for Boss to cross the plate as Afenir flew out to center field, bringing Boss home, extending the ORU lead to 6-4.
