Annual Diamond Dinner set for January 30

TULSA, Okla. - Former New York Yankee All-Star and World Series MVP pitcher Ralph Terry will be the keynote speaker for this year's Oral Roberts University baseball Diamond Dinner. The event will be held January 30, 2015, at the Tulsa Marriott Southern Hills, with a silent auction starting at 6 p.m. Dinner and the evening's program will begin at 6:30 p.m.

VIP tables, which including prime seating for eight guests with a celebrity, along with VIP room access and one hotel room the night of the event, is available for $1000. A Home Run level table sponsor includes seating for eight with a celebrity or ORU players, and is available for $750.

A native of Northeast Oklahoma, Terry pitched 12 seasons in the majors between 1956-1967, including eight seasons with the Yankees. He was named the 1962 World Series MVP when the Yankees defeated the San Francisco Giants in seven games, pitching a complete game shutout in game seven, after earning a victory in game five.

Terry pitched in five straight fall classic's between 1960-64 with the Yankees.
