FARGO, N.D. – The Oral Roberts baseball team was edged by North Dakota State after the Bison hit a walkoff single in the ninth inning to win 3-2 at Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo, North Dakota.

Logan Busch scored for the Bison in the bottom of the fourth inning after Danny Palmiscno reached on an error to put NDSU up 1-0. Also in the bottom of the fourth inning, Bennett Hostetler grounded out, but Alec Abercrombie scored an unearned run to put the Bison up 2-0.

Sam Grellner hit a RBI double to right center and Trevor McCutchin scored a run in the top of the ninth inning to cut NDSU's lead to 2-1. With two outs, Cal Hernandez hit a RBI double to left center to bring Sam Grellner around to score and tie the game at 2-2.

In the bottom of the ninth inning , Mason Pierzchalski hit a walkoff single to right field to bring home Bennett Hostetler and a 3-2 win for North Dakota State.

Turning Point

The Bison scored two runs in the fourth inning to take an early 2-0 lead. The Golden Eagles stormed back in the top of the ninth to tie the game at 2-2. The Bison hit a walkoff single in the bottom of the ninth to take a 3-2 win.

Inside the Box Score
- Josh McMinn started today's game for the Golden Eagles. He had eight strikeouts on the day, but allowed two runs off of eight hits.

- Cal Hernandez had three hits off of five at bats on the day with one RBI.

- Catcher Matt Whatley had two hits off of three at bats in today's game.

- Sam Grellner had one hit off of three at bats and recorded an RBI. He also scored one of the two Golden Eagle runs. 

- Trevor McCutchin went 1-4 on the day and scored one run.
