ORU Baseball's Regular Season Finale Washed Out at WIU

MACOMB, Ill. – The Oral Roberts baseball team had to cancel its regular season finale at Western Illinois Saturday afternoon due to the amount of rainfall in the area.

The Golden Eagles finished the regular season with a 39-14 record, going 25-4 in the league, to win their 17th-consecutive regular season title.

ORU turns its attention to The Summit League Championships May 24-27 at J.L. Johnson Stadium as the host and top seed in the four-team, double-elimination tournament to determine the conference's automatic bid into an NCAA Regional.

Game one of the championships begins at noon Wednesday featuring No. 2 North Dakota State and No. 3 South Dakota State before the Golden Eagles meet No. 4 Western Illinois in game two at 6 p.m.
