Matt Moore joined the Oral Roberts baseball staff as the Director of Operations in the fall of 2017 bringing with him more than 10 years of experience in amateur and professional baseball. He takes over the day-to-day operations of the program, including travel, equipment and camps.
Moore came to Golden Eagles after serving for six years as the chief operating officer of The Dallas Patriots Baseball Organization, a nationally recognized Christian youth baseball organization known for developing young players and preparing them for success at the highest level of baseball. As a member of the Dallas Patriots organization, Moore assisted in the college placement for all high school aged players. During his time, the program reached a 100 percent success rate of graduating players continuing their playing careers at the collegiate level.
Prior to his time with the Patriots, Moore served as the Director of Operations for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the AA Affiliate for the Toronto Blue Jays from 2007-2011. Moore was responsible for all the day-to-day operations of the stadium, as well as event management for two Eastern League All-Star Games, various concerts, and community service events. He also worked in the team's marketing department helped develop numerous partnerships with companies such as U.S. Cellular, Ford and Delta Dental.
Moore earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from The University of Texas at Tyler in 2008. He and his wife, Stephanie, live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with their son, Brooks, and daughter, Madison.
