    Senior Dominique Morrison has been named to the NABC All-District First Team for District 12, it was announced today by the organization. The Summit League Player of the Year has earned all-district honors for the second year in a row, but was a first team selection for the first time.

    A four seed in the postseason NIT, Oral Roberts (27-6) will host the five seed Nevada (26-6) in the first round on Wednesday night inside the Mabee Center. The Golden Eagles and Wolf Pack will tip off at 8:15 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN3.

Each week for eight weeks, fans voted for the GEICO Play of the Year at the official Facebook page (facebook.com/BestofCollegeBasketball). Fans will now vote among the eight winners to crown the 2012 GEICO Play of the Year which will be announced on GEICO presents Best of College Basketball 2012 on CBS March 25, at 1 P.M. ET.

    Cox Communications has announced that it will air all of the quarterfinal and semifinal games of the 2012 Summit League Tournament in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. The only exception is the women's quarterfinal game on Sunday, which will not involve ORU and can be seen in Oklahoma City only.

    Oral Roberts edged Southern Utah 73-71 on the road Saturday, finishing the regular season at 26-5 and 17-1 in the Summit League. It is the most conference wins in school history and sends ORU into the Summit League tournament on a six-game winning streak.

    The final home basketball game of the season, Oral Roberts will honor four senior players as well as a graduate assistant coach as they host Akron Saturday, in a Sears BracketBuster contest that will be nationally televised on ESPN2. Additionally, the first 2,500 fans in the door will receive a free Dominique Morrison Bobblehead, and all lower level seats will have a free white ORU t-shirt as the athletics department conducts a white out of the Mabee Center.
