Emegano Named to 2014-15 NABC Honors Court

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Basketball Coaches released its 2014-15 NABC Honors Court, including Oral Roberts guard Obi Emegano. The list recognizes those men's collegiate basketball student-athletes who excelled in academics during the past season.

Emegano earned his degree in psychology in May of 2015, graduating in four years.  He was a NABC All-District, first team All-Summit League, and Summit League All-Tournament Team selection in 2014-15 after averaging 18.3 points per game. He was 205-260 from the free throw line, the sixth most free throws made and attempted in ORU history. He had a career high 34 points against North Dakota State, and was a two-time Summit League Player of the Week.

In order to earn the honor, student-athletes much be a junior of senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
