Scouting the Opponent
• Through the first three games of the season, BYU has been led by Yoeli Childs who is averaging 18 points and 14 rebounds per game.

• BYU was picked to finish third in the WCC Preseason Poll, behind Gonzaga and Saint Mary's, while Childs was a preseason All-Conference selection.

Quick Hits
• ORU and BYU will meet for the sixth time, with BYU having won all five previous meetings.

• Thursday's game will be ORU's fifth game in a 10 day span since starting the season November 6 at Missouri State.

• Junior Emmanuel Nzekwesi has scored in double figures in all four games for ORU this season, and is leading the Golden Eagles in scoring (17.3 ppg) and rebounding (8.5 ppg).

• ORU basketball was featured on ESPN's SportsCenter Top 10 twice after Tuesday's basketball action, both for half-court shots. • Junior Emmanuel Nzekwesi returns after leading ORU in scoring at 12.7 points per game last year and was second on the squad, and the top returner, at 7.2 rebounds per contest.

• ORU was picked to finish sixth in The Summit League, just behind North Dakota State and ahead of league newcomer North Dakota.

• Nzekwesi was a preseason All-Summit League Second Team selection after earning honorable mention honors last year.
