LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – The Oral Roberts men's golf team had a pair of golfers competing among the nation's best at the 2017 Patriot All-America Invitational. Started in 2011, the Patriot All-American Invitational features golfers from every NCAA division and throughout the championship, each participant honors a fallen or injured soldier by carrying a bag bearing the name of that individual.

News and Notes
- Mike Biata finished in a tie for 46th overall after shooting 218 (71-74-73, +8) for the event. He had a total of eight birdies during the 54-hole event.

- Biata was playing in honor of Major Troy Gilbert, an F-16 pilot who was killed in a support mission northwest of Baghdad in 2006.

- Cody Burrows finished tied for 61st, having to overcome a tough opening round. He responded with a final round 70 to finish the tournament at 221 (77-74-70, +11).

- Burrows played the event in honor of Army Sergeant Mycal L. Prince, who was a member of the Oklahoma National Guard in Stillwater and died while serving as an infantryman in Afghanistan.
