ORU Men Receive National Recognition

TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts men's soccer team gained national attention in the latest NSCAA polls. The Golden Eagles earned a vote to put their name in the running for a top-25 ranking.

 
At the end of week one, the team is 2-0 coming off wins at Incarnate Word and a neutral site victory against Michigan State in Dallas.
 

Santiago Riveros helped his team to a 2-0 record by scoring three points as well as earning three assists in the two games played. He has recently been named Summit League Offensive Player of the Week.

 

Parker Johnson and Thibaut Giquel have both seen time as goalie. They have not allowed a goal so far this season and between them have a combined total of 12 saves.

 

ORU now travels to play at Gonzaga Thursday, September 1 at 8 p.m. in Spokane, Wash., then Washington Sunday, September 4 at 5 p.m. in Seattle.
