TULSA, Okla. – The ORU men's soccer team fell short to Incarnate Word 5-2 Sunday evening.
Incarnate Word scored first when Thomas Bibby scored off of a pass from Daniel Nevarez in the fifth minute.
ORU's Matthew Rogers responded with an unassisted goal from inside the penalty box.
The Cardinals scored twice again before halftime. Wouter Peters scored with an assist from Thomas Bibby. Ben Conway added his goal in the 39th minute that was crossed to him inside the penalty box from Miguel Ojeda making the score 3-1.
Incarnate Word opened up the second half with a goal from Miguel Ojeda that he scored off of a corner kick from Daniel Nevarez. Nevarez scored a goal of his own that was unassisted in the 62nd minute making the score 5-1.

- Parker Johnson played all 90 minutes and made three saves.
