TULSA, Okla. – Oral Roberts men's soccer forward Matthew Rogers has been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Men's Soccer first team.
Rogers is a redshirt senior on the Golden Eagles squad and was one of 11 players named to the Academic All-District first team in district seven. Rogers will now be recognized on the CoSIDA Academic All-America Team ballot.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District teams recognize individual student-athletes for their performance athletically as well as academically. Rogers has started in 14 games this season for the Golden Eagles and has scored four goals, tallied one assist and recorded nine points for so far this season. He is a business administration major and holds a 3.54 GPA.
Oral Roberts University is in CoSIDA district seven which is comprised of schools from Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas and Wyoming.
