Men’s Soccer Claims Summit League Postseason Honors

DENVER, Colo. – Oral Roberts University men's soccer student-athletes were honored Wednesday with all-league honors.

Junior Santiago Riveros earned a spot on The Summit League second team all-league. Thibaut Giquel and Tyler LaCourse were selected to the League's All-Newcomer Team.

Riveros led the way for the Golden Eagle offense this season. He played in 15 games during the regular season and recorded a total of six goals and eight assists for 20 points. He currently leads The Summit League in assists ahead of Denver's Sam Hamilton who has seven.

Giquel played in nine games for the Golden Eagles and had a record of 2-4-1. He allowed 13 goals on the season, but made 31 saves and had a save percentage of 70.5.

As a freshman, Tyler LaCourse made his presence known. He played in 15 games for the Golden Eagles in the regular season and tallied eight points. As a defender, he created three shots on goal.

Fazlo Alihodzic of Omaha was named Offensive Player of the Year, while his teammate Emmanuel Hamzat claimed Newcomer of the Year honors, respectively. Reagan Dunk was awarded The Summit League's Defensive Player of the Year honors. The Pioneers also claimed Goalkeeper of the Year with Nick Gardner and Head Coach Jamie Franks was named Coach of the Year.
