Nelson Earns All-America Honors at NCAA Championship

EUGENE, Ore. – Oral Roberts hurdler Israel Nelson ran a personal best and school record time of 13.81 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles to finish 13th overall at the NCAA Championship, Wednesday evening.

News and Notes
- With his 13th place finish, Nelson earned second team All-America honors. It is his second time to earn All-America status after finishing 11th in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2016 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship.

- Nelson's time of 13.81 seconds sets the new school record, previously held at 13.89 by Franz Petzold, who accomplished the feat at the 2003 NCAA Regional Meet.

- Nelson was 14th in the west region after the Summit League Championship, and improved to finish the year 13th in the nation.
