Owen Posts Career Best to Highlight Final Day of KU Relays

LAWRENCE, Kan.  – The Oral Roberts track and field teams continued to trend in the right direction as the Golden Eagles added two more top finishes among the collegiate athletes at the 2019 KU Relays, Saturday.

News and Notes
- Sasha Wells ran an NCAA career best 11.32 in the 100m dash and also 13.57 in the 100m hurdles, Saturday, winning the hurdles and finishing as the second collegian in the 100m dash.

- Matt Owen beat his career best in the pole vault to finish as the third collegian in the event, clearing the bar at 5.10m (16-8.75) , an inch and a half higher than his previous best, and four inches higher than any vault this season.

- Emmanuel Mwewa was the top collegian in the 400m dash, running 47.63, which is his fastest outdoor time since running 47.62 at the John McDonnell Invitational on April 14, 2018.
