ORU Track Adds Local Pole Vault Standout

TULSA, Okla. – Oral Roberts Head Track and Field Coach Joe Dial has announced the signing of a Broken Arrow pole vaulter Brandon Hanoch.

  • Won the conference, region and state championship in the pole vault
  • Cleared a personal best 16 feet for a new school record
  • Earned All-State honors and was named the Broken Arrow Field MVP twice
  • Son of Jeff and Rece Hanoch
  • A third generation pole vaulter, Brandon's father, Jeff, was a collegiate pole vaulter at Oklahoma, where he was coached by Dial

"I am excited that Brandon is coming to ORU. I took his dad Jeff from 16 feet to 18 fee when I coached him at OU. I have known Brandon since he was born and he is a perfect fit for ORU."
