TULSA, Okla. – After a stellar rookie campaign, Oral Roberts freshman volleyball player Laura Milos was named the Summit League Newcomer of the Year.
Included in her freshman accolades, Milos had a career-best 38 kills in a five-set win over Arkansas. She also became the second Golden Eagle to ever earn the award, joining Maja Kuljis in 2001. She finished the year second in the Summit League as one of just two players to finish with more than 500 kills at 502 and averaged 4.37 kills per set, ranking in the top 30 nationally in both categories.
