TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts volleyball team will continue tournament play this weekend as they travel to Lubbock, Texas for the Texas Texas Invitational Friday and Saturday.
The Golden Eagles open action on Friday at 2 p.m. with Stephen F. Austin. ORU will then play two matches on Saturday, first at 2 p.m. against Abilene Christian before facing off with host Texas Tech at 6 p.m.

► The Golden Eagles enter the weekend streaking, winners of five-straight matches dating back to August 27 at the Oklahoma Invitational. Over the span, ORU has picked up wins over UTEP, Alcorn St., Central Arkansas, Incarnate Word and Louisiana-Monroe. Three of the five wins have come via sweeps while two have come from 3-1 decisions.
► Laura Milos has come out swinging to start the 2016 campaign. The junior leads the nation in three categories and ranks in the top-10 nationally in five categories. Milos leads the nation with 1.24 aces per set. The Porec, Croatia sits atop the NCAA in kills per set (6.00) as well as points per set (7.38). She ranks sixth in triple doubles (1) and 10th in total kills (126).
► For her efforts during the Central Arkansas Invitation last weekend, Milos was tabbed the Tournament MVP while middle blocker Shelby Cox and setter Lucija Bojanjac joined Milos on the All-Tournament Team. Bojanjac finished with 126 assists during the four matches while Cox tallied 32 kills and nine blocks.
► Both Milos and Bojanjac continue to move up the ORU career leaderboards. Milos went up two places to seventh all-time now with 1, 211 career kills. Bojanjac is now fifth in career assists with 2,755 during her three-year career.
► The Summit League named Laura Milos the League's Offensive Player of the Week after the Central Arkansas Invitational. It marked the first award of its kind for the junior this season after she collected six a year ago. She now sits third all-time in Summit League history with seven weekly awards.
► Milos has been tabbed as a Summit League Player to Watch coming into the 2016 season. Milos is coming off a First Team AVCA All-Midwest Region award as well as being named a First Team All-League member in 2015. Milos earned the League's Offensive Player of the Week award five times last season.
► ORU returns top kill and assist leaders Laura Milos (5.07 k/s) and Lucija Bojanjac (10.71 a/s) from a year ago. Milos, a junior, continues to climb the ORU record book in career kills, sitting eighth all-time with 1,141 kills after two seasons with the Golden Eagles. Bojanjac currently sits sixth in the ORU record book with 2,632 assists in her career.
► The Golden Eagles received 42 points in The Summit League Preseason Coaches' Poll and were slated to finish fourth in the League.
► The Golden Eagles are 4-2 all-time against the Stephen F. Austin. ORU has beaten the Jacks in its last two meetings, including a 3-1 win in 2013.
► A 3-1 win in 2013 was the last time ORU and Abilene Christian met. ORU leads the all-time series, 4-2-1.
► Texas Tech is the only team this weekend that the Golden Eagles hold a losing record against, though not far from even. The Red Raiders have an 11-6 all-time lead in the series with the last meeting coming in 2005. Tech has won five straight meeting against the Golden Eagles.
