DENVER, Colo. – The Oral Roberts volleyball team suffered a straight-set loss (17-25, 9-25, 12-25) at Denver Friday night inside Hamilton Gymnasium.

 

ORU had an early lead on the Pioneers in the opening set after Bri Greenlee and CeCe Madison combined for a block before the home side used a big run to take control of the frame. Denver continued to put the pressure on the Golden Eagles as its offense was in sync the entire night.

 

Madison led ORU all over the court as the junior posted a match-high 18 digs and added four kills offensively.

 

Inside the Box Score.

  • Greenlee was a spark defensively as she was a part of all four of the Golden Eagles' blocks, including the only solo block. The junior also tied for the team lead with four kills.
  • Katarina Mikulic reached double-digit digs with 10 and added three kills.
  • Bria Bergman tallied 14 set assists for ORU.
  • Denver clinched a share of its fifth-straight Summit League regular season title with the victory and remains unbeaten in conference play.
