LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Oral Roberts men's and women's cross country teams started the season Saturday morning at the historic Rim Rock Farms for the 2017 Bob Timmons Dual Classic, hosted by the University of Kansas.

News and Notes
- ORU posted four top-20 finishes on the day, including Bryce Choate (19th) in his first race as a Golden Eagle.

- Jessica Romero led the ORU women, finishing 16th overall.

- McKayla Roberts, who finished 21st overall, set a new personal best at 23:09, besting her top 5k time of 23:23.1 at the Cowboy Jamboree last year.
