FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Oral Roberts cross country teams continued to improve their times on Saturday as the Golden Eagles competed in the 2018 Chile Pepper Festival, one of the largest cross country races in the nation.

News and Notes
- Of the four ORU women who raced Saturday, four set a season best despite the muddy conditions, while Cadee Baldwin raced for the first time this year.

- Sharon Jepkemoi dropped two minutes off her time from her last race as Jepkemoi and Jessica Romero each broke 20 minutes for the first time this season.

- The ORU women raced at the 5k distance for the third straight race. The men competed at the 8k distance for the first time this season, and have now raced at three different distances in three races (5k, 6k, 8k).

- More than 860 runners competed in the 2018 Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival, with 100 teams taking the course.
