TULSA, Okla. – The Oral Roberts baseball team has never been one that is shy about putting together a tough non-conference schedule. Year after year, the Golden Eagles prove that they will play—and beat—anyone.
In 2016, ORU topped the SEC's Auburn and Mississippi State, who was at one time the number one team in the nation, and posted a 4-1 record against the Big 12 during the regular season, including wins over Oklahoma, Kansas State and College World Series participant Oklahoma State (x2).
With the success in 2016, ORU is now 9-2 against the Big 12 in the regular season the last two years.
The Golden Eagles finished the year 38-21 with a 22-8 mark in Summit League play, sweeping both the regular season and tournament titles before heading down to TCU for the NCAA Regional.
