TULSA, Okla. – Junior Cody Burrows and sophomore Mike Biata were each named to the All-Summit League First Team, marking our number seven moment in the #TopORUMoments countdown.
It was the first time since 2009 in which ORU had two golfers earn first team honors.
Biata finished his sophomore year with the second best stroke average on the team at 73.5, the 10th best in ORU history and was an All-Tournament selection at the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate.
Burrows led the team in scoring for the third year in a row with a 73.2 stroke average, the second best in The Summit League and seventh best in ORU history. He shot a career best 66 in the second round of the Bubba Barnett Intercollegiate and had six rounds under par during the year.
While the duo stole the headlines the majority of the season, it was rising sophomore Dustin Hasley who earned the attention over the summer as he won the OGA Stroke Play Championship after an opening round 64 which included a hole in one and an eagle on a par four.
