TULSA, Okla. – Summit League officials announced Wednesday morning that the 2022 Baseball Championship scheduled to begin today has been pushed back to a Thursday start.

Consistent and heavy rain over the past few days in the Tulsa area forced the postponement of the opening two games of the tournament being held at J.L. Johnson Stadium.

The schedule and double-elimination bracket will remain the same with top-seeded North Dakota State set to take on fourth-seeded Omaha in the first game now set for Thursday at 12:05 p.m. CT.

Thursday's second game will feature tournament host and No. 2 seed Oral Roberts vs. No. 3 seed South Dakota State at 6:05 p.m. CT.
