strong-armed outfielder also has a potent middle-of-the-lineup bat ... owns

excellent power to all fields ... also possesses good speed for someone his size

Enjoyed a productive first season at ORU ... came on late in

the year, especially during post-season play ... named Mid-Con Tournament MVP

after hitting .571 (8-14) with a double, two homers and 10 RBI in three games

... batted .424-4-18 in the season's final 16 games, including .464-3-14 in

seven post-season games ... was 4-for-4 with a double, a homer and five RBI in

Mid-Con Tournament title game vs. Southern Utah (5/29) ... 3-for-4 with two

doubles, a homer and three RBI against TCU (6/5) in NCAA Regional play ... was

4-for-5 with an RBI in game one at Southern Utah (5/21), and banged a 2-run

homer in game three (5/22) ... 4-for-4 with two doubles in series-opening win at

At Eastern State


Played two seasons at Eastern Oklahoma State for current ORU

assistant Todd Shelton ... batted .317 with 14 doubles, four triples, nine home

runs and 48 RBI in 55 games for Eastern in 2003 as the Mountaineers finished

34-21 ... batted .356 with 17 doubles, two triples, four home runs and 43 RBI as

a freshman, leading the Mountaineers in batting, doubles and RBI.
