High School
Graduated from Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Calif., in 2006... broke six single-season records, including batting average (.520), on-base percentage (.625), runs (30), hits (39), doubles (12) and saves (five)... a three-time all-city selection... named to the All-SCAC First-Team in 2005 and 2006... awarded team MVP honors for three seasons... also lettered in football all four years... set school record with the longest fumble recovery return (73 yards).
