TULSA, Okla. - The future of ORU baseball looks bright after the Golden Eagles returned to the top of the Summit League and earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament after sweeping the regular season and tournament championships.
While the outgoing seniors played a major role in ORU's 41-16 season, freshmen like Nick Roark give fans reason for optimism moving forward. Roark played multiple positions on the field but started in 26 games as a true freshmen, hitting .287 for the season with 14 RBIs and five doubles. Against IPFW, Roark was 4-for-5 with three RBIs adn three runs scored.
The Broken Arrow native visited with ORUAthletics.com to give fans more information about himself on and off the field.
