Roark and Womacks Earn Summit League Weekly Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – Oral Roberts infielder Nick Roark was named Summit League Baseball Player of the Week, while Omaha starting pitcher Tyler Fox and Oral Roberts reliever Brady Womacks garnered the league's Pitcher of the Week awards for their performances during the week of Feb. 22-28.

  • Earned his first career Player of the Week honor
  • Went 4-for-6 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 12-7 win at No. 26 Dallas Baptist
  • Added three hits each in Friday's win at DBU and Wednesday's win over Wichita State
  • Hit .500 with a .750 slugging percentage and .500 on-base percentage in four Golden Eagle wins last week, including a series win at No. 26 Dallas Baptist
  • For the week, had seven RBI, five runs scored, two doubles and one homer

  • Collected his first Pitcher of the Week award this season and third of his career
  • Surrendered just three hits across seven innings in Friday's 16-2 win over Saint Louis in the Perfect Game Spring Swing in Emerson, Ga.
  • Collected seven strikeouts against just one walk in the game for his first win of the season
  • Allowed no runs with a perfect ERA on the week

Jr. // RHP // Pevely, Mo.

  • Earned his first career Pitcher of the Week award
  • Began the week with a save in a mid-week win over Wichita State, tossing one inning with no hits and one strikeout
  • Earned a three-inning save in Sunday's win over No. 26 Dallas Baptist, allowing no hits with one punch out
  • For the week, collected two saves with a pair of strikeouts and just one hit in 4.1 inning pitched
