TULSA, Okla. - Oral Roberts baseball wrapped up a successful month on the diamond as well as off the field as the team raised over four thousand dollars for the Vs. Cancer Foundation.
All of the proceeds will be going to help beat Childhood Cancer with 50 percent going to CureSearch and 50 percent staying local at the St. Francis Children's Hospital Oncology Department.
Following the teams' doubleheader sweep of IPFW last Saturday, members of the team as well as head coach Ryan Folmar shaved their heads to show support for the initiative.
The Vs. Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving kids' lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts. Fans and alumni are encouraged to read more about the foundation here.
