ELMHURST, Ill. – Oral Roberts earned the top seed in the upcoming Summit League Baseball Championship for the 16th time in program history and second consecutive year.
The 2016 baseball tournament takes place from May 25-28, at J.L. Johnson Stadium on the campus of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla. This marks the first time since 2012 the tournament will be in Tulsa and the 13th time overall.
Tickets are on sale now at MabeeCenter.com. All-Session passes are available as well as Single-Game tickets. The J.L. Johnson Stadium Box Office will open at 10 a.m. each morning and close during the seventh inning of the night game. Fans can also purchase tickets at the Mabee Center Ticket Office Monday-Friday between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Oral Roberts earned the No. 1 seed after capturing its record 16th regular season title last weekend. The Golden Eagles finished the league season with a 22-8 (.733) record.
Omaha, the No. 2 seed, qualified for the tournament in its first year of eligibility. The Mavericks (17-12) won the regular season titles in 2013 and 2014 and have never finished lower than fourth.
Fort Wayne will be the No. 3 seed for the third consecutive season and advanced to the title game a year ago. The Mastodons, riding a 10-game winning streak, are making only their third appearance in program history.
South Dakota State advanced to its seventh tournament in school history in eight years of eligibility. The Jackrabbits have never been the No. 4 seed and will be looking to become just the second fourth-seeded squad to win the tournament (North Dakota State, 2014).
No. 2 Omaha (28-26, 17-12 Summit) opens tournament play against No. 3 Fort Wayne (31-24, 14-16 Summit) in game one on Wednesday, at Noon (CT). Top-seeded Oral Roberts (34-18, 22-8 Summit) battles No. 4 South Dakota State (21-33, 13-17 Summit) in Wednesday's second game at 6 p.m. (CT).
The double elimination tournament continues with two games Thursday, one game Friday, and the championship game(s) taking place Saturday. The winner claims The Summit League's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
