Transitioned from a starting role to the bullpen and threw 34.1 innings over 25 appearances and four starts ... Posted a 1-2 record and a 6.03 ERA for ORU and struck out 44 batters, including a season-high six at Western Illinois ... Howe started the season a mid-week starter and was impressive helping ORU to wins over Oklahoma and Oklahoma State going 4-2 during his freshman season ... Led the Golden Eagles in the Summit League Tournament Championship game with his longest outing going 7.2 innings and a season-high seven strikeouts ... Earned his first collegiate start at Oklahoma on May 10 and won his first game for ORU at Little Rock March 24 going five innings and allowing just one run while striking out four and walking none ... His 46 strikeouts were third best for ORU ... Posted a 3.93 earned run averageand only walked 14 in 55 innings pitched for the campaign.
