ORU Postpones Baseball Friday, Adjusts Weekend Schedule

TULSA, Okla. – With heavy rain and thunderstorms expected the rest of the evening, the Oral Roberts baseball game against Western Illinois scheduled for Friday, May 3 at 6 p.m. has been postponed.


The Golden Eagles and Fighting Leathernecks are now slated to begin their Summit League series playing a doubleheader Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. with game two to follow approximately 30 minutes later at J.L. Johnson Stadium.


Fans with tickets to Friday's game can redeem those at general admission value for any of the remaining ORU regular season home games. Those with tickets to Saturday's game will work for both contests.


Heroes Night originally scheduled for Friday has been moved to Tuesday, May 14th, against Wichita State where ORU Athletics is offering FREE tickets to the game to all active and retired US Military, Tulsa Fire Department, Tulsa Police Department and EMSA Oklahoma personnel.
