Head Coach Scott Sutton
On the second home win in a row
"Tonight, I thought we did a better job. They shot 45 percent in the second half and doubled what they scored in the first half, but these past few games have been huge as far as confidence for our guys. Winning games like this helps get the losing taste out of your mouth, and our guys should feel good about themselves going into next week."
Guard Korey Billbury
On the key to success tonight
"We tried to come out and play hard for all 40 minutes. We started off rebounding well and our defense was solid in the first half."
On the Homecoming crowd
"The energy from the crowd wasa a big part of our success tonight. Coach (Sutton) made us look up into the stands and take it all in, and then told us to play hard enough that they would want to come back. It was a great feeling to have all that support behind us."
Freshman Guard Bobby Word
On his game recently
"I have had to step up because of all of the injuries. Coach has confidence in me and has told me that I'm not a freshman any more."
On his teammate Korey Billbury's play
"He has been working really hard in practice and the other guys have noticed it. We feed off him and Brandon (Conley). They are our motors out there."
