SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic – Despite a bench that was shortened to just seven active players, the Oral Roberts men's basketball team out-ran San Carlos for a 70-55 win Saturday night at Mauricio Baez Gym.

20 point efforts from DaQuan Jeffries and Javan White, who combined to hit 18-26 from the field, paced the Golden Eagles in their second consecutive victory in the Dominican.

The Golden Eagles trailed for just two minutes and steadily pulled away in each of the four quarters.

Turning Point
After San Carlos cut ORU's lead to five, Jalen Bradley ran through a pass with seven minutes to go in the third quarter and converted the layup to spark an 8-0 Golden Eagle run. ORU was never threatened again.

Individual Leaders
Oral Roberts:  DaQuan Jeffries and Javan White each scored 20, while Albert Owens followed up his 24 points from the night before with 17 on Saturday. White and Owens each notched double-doubles with 14 and 10 rebounds, respectively.
San Carlos:  The home team was paced by 13 points from Brian Dilone, while Kevin Perez added 11.

Inside the Box Score
- ORU trailed 13-11 after the first quarter. All 11 ORU points came from the trio of Albert Owens (4), DaQuan Jeffries (4) and Javan White (3).
- The Golden Eagles pulled away and led by nine, 32-23 at the break.
- The third quarter was more of the same. After a San Carlos run that cut it to five, 35-30, ORU got a run-through from Jalen Bradley that sparked an 8-0 run. At the end of three, ORU led 54-40.
- White was on fire all night, finishing the game 9-12 from the field, while ORU finished 32-64 (50 percent) from the field for the game.
- Jeffries was 9-14 from the field and completed a pair of and-one opportunities in the game.
