Quick Hits
• Saturday will mark the 17th meeting between ORU and Detroit, but the second since 1987 when the two teams were Midwestern Collegiate Conference rivals. ORU leads the all-time series 9-7 after a 77-73 overtime win in Detroit last year.

• A win Saturday would move ORU to 6-1 and continue the best start to a season since going 8-0 to begin the 2004-05 campaign.

• A loss Saturday would snap a four-game winning streak this season and a five-game home winning streak.

Albert Owens and Obi Emegano (MVP) were each named to the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team after helping ORU to a 3-0 record and tournament championship.

• ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League in the preseason poll, although the Golden Eagles did pick up one first place vote. Obi Emegano was tabbed as the league's Player of the Year.

• ORU will open the season at home for the second year in row but just the third time since the 2006-07 season.
