Quick Hits
• For the second year in a row, ORU and Missouri State will play a home-and-home series within the same season. ORU won the first meeting, 80-65 in the regular season opener for both teams. Following that win, ORU holds a 7-6 edge in the all-time series.

A win Wednesday would give ORU two wins in a row in the series, matching the longest winning streak by either team.

A loss Wednesday would be the first time since January 21/24 of last season in which ORU has lost back-to-back games.

• So far this year, ORU has claimed the PSO Mayor's Cup for the third year in a row with a 70-68 win over Tulsa, and swept through the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic at  James Madison to win the tournament with a 3-0 record.

Albert Owens and Obi Emegano (MVP) were each named to the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team after helping ORU to a 3-0 record and tournament championship.

• ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League in the preseason poll, although the Golden Eagles did pick up one first place vote. Obi Emegano, who has earned a pair of Player of the Week honors already, was tabbed as the league's Player of the Year.
