Quick Hits
• ORU is 1-5 all-time against LSU, but the two teams have not met since the 1996 season when LSU took a 59-58 win in Baton Rouge. ORU's lone win in the series came November 30, 1988 (100-96).
• A win Saturday would be the first win over a current member of the SEC since 2009-10 when ORU beat Missouri.
• A loss Saturday would make it a three-game losing skid, the longest since December 16, 20, 22 of last season when the Golden Eagles fell to #15 Oklahoma, Memphis and Missouri State, all on the road.
• So far this year, ORU has claimed the PSO Mayor's Cup for the third year in a row with a 70-68 win over Tulsa, and swept through the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic at James Madison to win the tournament with a 3-0 record.
• Albert Owens and Obi Emegano (MVP) were each named to the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team after helping ORU to a 3-0 record and tournament championship.
• ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League in the preseason poll, although the Golden Eagles did pick up one first place vote. Obi Emegano, who has earned a pair of Player of the Week honors already, was tabbed as the league's Player of the Year.
