Quick Hits
• ORU is 10-4 against IPFW after the two teams split last year with each team winning on their home court. The loss at Fort Wayne snapped ORU's four game winning streak in the series.

• The Golden Eagles will start league play on the road for the third time in the last four years. The only exception was a home game against Houston Baptist to begin Southland Conference play in 2013-14.

A win Wednesday would put ORU at 1-0 to start league play for the fifth time in the last six years. ORU lost at North Dakota State to start the 2014-15 Summit League season.

A loss Wednesday would make it a five-game losing streak, the longest since 2008-09.

• So far this year, ORU has claimed the PSO Mayor's Cup for the third year in a row with a 70-68 win over Tulsa, and swept through the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic at James Madison to win the tournament with a 3-0 record.

Albert Owens and Obi Emegano (MVP) were each named to the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team after helping ORU to a 3-0 record and tournament championship.

• ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League in the preseason poll, although the Golden Eagles did pick up one first place vote. Obi Emegano, who has earned a pair of Player of the Week honors already, was tabbed as the league's Player of the Year.
