Quick Hits
• The Golden Eagles are 5-1 all-time against South Dakota, but it was the Coyotes who took the most recent meeting, winning 83-70 inside the Mabee Center February 14 of last year.

• ORU will return home after a five-game road swing and a stretch of seven of eight games away from home. Sunday will be just the second home game for ORU since November 28.

A win Sunday would even ORU's league record at 1-1 and continue a seven-game home winning streak.

A loss Wednesday would make it a six-game losing streak, the longest since the 2000-01 season when ORU dropped seven straight.

• So far this year, ORU has claimed the PSO Mayor's Cup for the third year in a row with a 70-68 win over Tulsa, and swept through the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic at  James Madison to win the tournament with a 3-0 record.

Albert Owens and Obi Emegano (MVP) were each named to the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic All-Tournament Team after helping ORU to a 3-0 record and tournament championship.

• ORU was picked to finish third in The Summit League in the preseason poll, although the Golden Eagles did pick up one first place vote. Obi Emegano, who has earned a pair of Player of the Week honors already, was tabbed as the league's Player of the Year.
