Emegano Named to NABC All-District First Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Senior guard Obi Emegano has been named to the NABC All-District 12 First Team, it was announced by the association Friday. Emegano was a second team all-district selection in 2014-15. 

In 2015-16, Emegano put together one of the best offensive seasons in the nation and in ORU history, ranking in the top 10 in the NCAA in points per game at 23.1. He led the Summit League in free throw attempts, free throws made, 30-point games and total points per game. He finished the year ninth in ORU history in single season scoring with 669 points and seventh at ORU in free throws made (198), attempted (232) and free throw percentage (.853). He was named the Men Against Breast Cancer Classic MVP and earned a spot on the Lou Henson Award Watch List.
