Anderson Inks Deal with KK Jazine Arbanasi

TULSA, Okla. – Former ORU men's basketball player Aaron Anderson has signed his first professional contract, agreeing to play for KK Jazine Arbanasi in Croatia.

After graduating from ORU in 2017, Anderson took a year off, but is returning to the sport for the 2018-19 season.

"Over this past year, I have been challenged by God to not walk the path I think is best for myself but to walk the path that He has made for me," said Anderson. "Being home was the biggest blessing in disguise because I have grown as a Christian, a man and a father."

Anderson spent two years with the Golden Eagles, starting 25 games as a senior. He averaged 8.7 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, and was the second leading assist man for the season with 93 helpers. He finished the year fifth in The Summit League in assist/turnover ratio (1.79) and was top 10 in the league in free throw percentage at 80.8 percent. He was one of two Golden Eagles with a double-double during the 2016-17 season with 20 points and 10 rebounds against South Dakota.

Anderson is the second Golden Eagle in as many days to sign a professional contract after Albert Owens announced Monday that he will be playing for Spojnia Stargard in Poland.
