NEWTON, Kan.  – A 16-shot improvement by the Golden Eagles moved the Oral Roberts men's golf team up the leader board Monday in the second round of the 2016 Summit League Championship. Sitting in a tie for fourth at 606 (311-295) with 18 holes to play, ORU is just four shots out of second place. South Dakota State leads the team race at 584 (292-292).

News & Notes
- After a tough opening round, Will Starkey started off hot on Monday, birdieing three of the first six holes of the day.

- As a team, ORU improved 16 shots from Sunday's round. ORU posted a total of 15 birdies in round two, including four from Trevor Torgerson.

- Three of the five ORU golfers played the front nine to an even-par 36. Torgerson was the lone Golden Eagle to finish the day under par after shooting 71.

- ORU tied Western Illinois for the second lowest round of the day, only behind SDSU's 292.
