Burrows Repeats as Golfer of the Month

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Oral Roberts' Cody Burrows and South Dakota State's Teresa Toscano were rewarded for their consistent play throughout the month of October as both repeated as Summit League Male and Female Golfers of the Month, respectively.

Burrows turned in a pair of top-10 finishes in October, including a tie for third at the Herb Wimberley Intercollegiate (217; +4), which was the top individual finish by a Summit League Golfer during the month. He also tied for seventh at the Pepsi Cola Classic to wrap up the Golden Eagles' fall schedule. His second-round score of 69 (-3) was his best of the month, helping him finish with a 54-hole total of 217 (+1).

Toscano backed up an impressive September with two more top-10 finishes to close out the fall season. She tied for seventh at both the NM State Aggie Invitational (218; +4) and UC Irvine Invitational (212; -2) during the month. Her 212 score in the fall finale topped her previous season best of 214 that she set while capturing the UNO Fall Invitational. Toscano closed out with a pair of rounds under par, including a season-best of 70 (-2) in the second round.
