Men's Soccer Closes Exhibition Play With A Victory Over Oklahoma Wesleyan

TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts men's soccer closed out exhibition play this preseason with a 9-0 victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan Tuesday night at the Case Soccer Complex. 

The Golden Eagles started things off quickly with a goal in the second minute of action on a cross over the middle which Tyler Hill put in the back of the net. ORU did not look back as they added three more goals in the period to head to halftime leading 4-0. 

ORU sent five balls into goal in the second half. Sophomore Colton Haskin put an exclamation on the game in the 89th minute has he picked up his third goal of the match for a hat trick.

  • ORU outshot the the Eagles 20-3 on the night. 
  • Six different players picked up goals. 
  • Hunter Harrison and Ben LaCourse shared time in the net for ORU for the second game, recording another clean sheet. 
  • Six of ORU's goals were assisted on, with senior Edgardo Mira leading the way with two helpers.
