TULSA, Okla. – Two Golden Eagles pick up their first career goals, but the Golden Eagles fall to cross-town rival Tulsa, 6-2 Thursday night in Tulsa.

Alexis Derennes and Colton Haskin delivered the only two goals for the Golden Eagles respectively, but the Tulsa offense was too much for ORU to corral.

Oral Roberts came out offensive minded, taking a shot at TU's goalkeeper Jake McGuire just a minute into the match. ORU and Tulsa would settle down on the attack though until 18 minutes into the match when the Golden Hurricane's Cameron Drackett found the back of the net from five yard out.

ORU battled back though to tie the match when freshman forward Alexis Derennes put a ball in off an assist by Arturo Rodriguez

Tulsa answered though, just a few minutes later when they took the lead once more on a goal by Bradley Bourgeois followed by Drackett scoring his second goal of the match to push their lead to 3-1 at the break.

Haskin's stopped the bleeding for the Golden Eagles in the 81st minute as he picked up his first goal of the season.

Tulsa added three goals in the second half. One off a penalty kick.

Five minutes after ORU fought back to even the score at one apiece, Tulsa netted two goals in the matter of minutes to take a 3-1 lead into the locker room at halftime.
