TULSA, Okla. -- Redshirt junior Valin Bodie has been selected to compete in the 2017 Beach Soccer World Cup as part of the Bahamas National Squad the Bahamas Football Association announced.
Bodie, a goalkeeper for the Golden Eagles, will begin training early in July in Switzerland as his squad competes against several other national teams including Croatia, Italy, Austria and the United States in preperation for the 2017 tournament.
Founded in 1967 and affiliated with FIFA since 1968, The Bahamas Football Association (BFA) is the official football federation in The Bahamas. Headquartered in Nassau, BFA is in charge of New Providence Football League's divisions 1 & 2 as well as the Grand Bahama Football League for both men and women.
