ORU Men’s Soccer Adds Max Roetcisoender to 2018 Roster

TULSA, Okla. - The Oral Roberts men's soccer team signed Max Roetcisoender to the 2018 Fall roster it was announced Wednesday by Head Coach Ryan Bush.

Max Roetcisoender joined the ORU men's soccer team as a 5-foot-8 center midfielder from Mission Viejo, California. Roetcisoender is a 2018 graduate from Mission Viejo High School where he was named the 2018 offensive player of the year. He played varsity soccer all four years in high school and was named captain his senior year. He scored five goals and made eight assists in his final year in high school.

 "I loved the visit to ORU," Roetcisoender said. "The campus is beautiful and I can see myself getting and education while playing division one soccer."

He is the son of Todd and Yolanda Roetcisoender and is expected to major in engineering at ORU. He was recruited to play soccer by Cornell, Davidson and Westminster College. His favorite pro team is Arsenal and in his free time he likes to spend time with his family. After he graduates he would like the opportunity to play pro soccer or work in the aeronautics field.
